How the workspace is organized
Collections hold spaces, spaces hold groups, and groups hold your saved tabs and notes.
Four levels, each with a job
- Collections are the big areas of your life, like Work or Personal. Switch between them from the workspace menu.
- Spaces are the tabs across the top (or bottom) of a collection, one per project or topic.
- Groups are the columns inside a space, like Reading or Design references.
- Items are what you save in a group: tabs, notes, checklists, images, timers and more. See Notes, checklists and other items.

Create your first space
- 1.Choose Create space or easel next to your spaces, then New Space.
- 2.Name it after a project you are working on this week.
- 3.Drag a few open tabs in from the sidebar. Tabkeep makes a group for them.
A space can also be an easel: a free-form canvas instead of columns.
